Best Restaurants in London
I have lived in London for the last few years, during which time I have been fortunate to have the opportunity to explore many different London restaurants. Once you set foot in this historic city, I guarantee you will have nothing to lose in choosing London’s restaurant scene.
In this article, I’ll walk you through my picks for the best food in London, from the very affordable to the more luxurious. Before diving in, bookmark my guide on what to do in London.
Bubala specializes in meatless Middle Eastern dishes with a unique twist, at two locations in London (Spitalfields and Soho). The lack of meat is made up for by an amazing flavor combination that will leave you satisfied and wanting more.
In addition to its flavorful products, Bubala offers a wide selection of wines, cocktails and even a vegan menu. We had a set vegetarian tasting menu for dinner at the Spitalfields location, which consisted of 10 courses (and if you’re lucky, they might even add a few bonuses).
As I continue to eat my way through London’s pubs in search of the best Sunday roast, I https://www.masgoufknightsbridge.com/ couldn’t help but share this gem in the heart of Clapham that I discovered. The Pig’s Head, an adorable gastropub, offers a menu that changes daily, making you want to come back and try it all.
We went for the Sunday roast and I was very pleased with the day’s offerings. Many places offer pork belly or roast pork, so I was delighted when I saw pulled pork on the menu, something I hadn’t found in other pubs. The meat is super tender and delicious, and the sides are delicious too. You’re guaranteed not to leave this London restaurant hungry!
Among the many fantastic Italian dishes in London, this family restaurant located in the beloved neighborhood of Chelsea has been famous since 1966 and is still going strong today. My favorite thing about this restaurant, besides the food, is the friendly staff and its authenticity that makes you feel as if you have been transported to Tuscany.
Offering indoor and outdoor seating, this is a great restaurant to visit any time of year, but if you go in the summer, they have a beautiful outdoor patio that adds to the dining experience. Some of the dishes I tried while I was there were all excellent, including Piccante Al Limone (pictured), Bruschetta Alla Romana, Rucola Con Parmigiano, and Girasoli Pomodori Secchi E Burrata, which is a special stuffed pasta from their seasonal menu.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Berenjak, an oasis of Persian food located in Borough Market, and it instantly became one of my top 3 favorite restaurants in London.
When you enter the restaurant, you’ll notice a few things: it’s always full of people, there’s often a line (this is usually a good indicator of great food), and it has a spectacular Middle Eastern atmosphere. In particular, the atmosphere will take you on an amazing culinary journey while surrounded by beautiful decorations and traditional music.
